Chapter 1: Our First Blog Post! Yay!

Hello and welcome to the GPS Blog. This is how we will communicate with our loyal subscribers ( you) and announcing updates on our events. This blog will be updated by the GPS secretary (me) every monumental moment of our GPS careers. For this first post, I will be describing the previous events that have been done by GPS this girl scout season. So far this year, we have completed the nuts, candies, and magazine selling season, and along with this season, we did fall sale rallies, which were held both at the north and south ends of Colorado Springs. This year, we had a great turn out with a lot of girls coming and participating in all of our fun stations, including a taste test station, an online station, and craft stations. These rallies are designed to ensure that our Colorado girl scouts are prepared for the sales they participate in, and we at GPS have confidence in the girls who attended having a prepared mind set going into fall sales. Currently in GPS, we are working to plan our annual Colorado mall lock in, which is an event for cadets and up girl scouts to have a great time shopping, going to stations, and having a fantastic time socializing with girl scouts outside of the scouts they see and communicate with on average. This year's lock in theme is life sized/ extreme gaming.We look forward to having a fantabulous turn out for this event and hope to have tons of girl scouts, so please save the date and register ASAP.
